93) Excellent Near Mint Original WW2 British Pocket Chess & Draughts Board. Complete. Not a military item but certainly one which was carried by British troops. The outer sleeve is in nice order and made from leather showing just minor edge wear. The fold out board is again excellent and like new. An economy item with paper/card for the board and leather backing. Each square has a small slot for the game piece to tuck into when playing. All pieces are in place and are double sided. They are still in their original cellophane packaging. One side draughts the other chess pieces. The outer sleeve measures 6 inches X 4 1/2 inches. The last of these identical that we had was named to a soldier and dated 1944 so this is 100% 1930s-WW2.
