94) A good original early Red ensign as used on civil ships such as the Merchant Navy. The flag is of nice quality heavy duty material and made from many parts. It is in fair order but pretty ancient and has many moth holes although all is still good and strong. There is a a slight colour difference in meterials which may well be due to the wartime economy of the time. The edge tape is in place and excellent.it is complete with its original hanging strings. It measures 80 inches X 59 inches.
