148) A very nice original British army lightweight service respirator. This looks to have never been issued and is in lovely condition. The rubber mask is in mint condition and like new, it is dated 5/43 to one side. It is marked as a size normal. Both lenses are perfect. The sprung head strap are good but do show some stretch wear to them. Still lots of stretch left. The head pad is dated 1943. The underside of the mash is ink marked 30/8/44. The filter is again in excellent order with all original markings. It is dated January 1945 stamped into the metal. The haversack is again in nice order and dated October1943.
