45) Good Well Used Original WW1 US Army Officers Peaked Cap & Badge. The outside of the cap is in good used condition. With minor marks but pretty good. It has a wear hole to the central top which is fixed with an old cloth tape which can be seen inside. There are a few minor wear spots under the rim. The badge is excellent and the original, The peak is good as is the chinstrap. The side buttons are the originals and again good. The leather sweatband shows lots of wear from use and has been re-attached long ago. The internal lining is very tatty and worn. It is quite small and looks to be a size 6 1/2.
