71) Unissued WW2 British Military Issue Cutlery Knife With Faint markings. White Grip. we purchased a good quantity of these years ago, most had been unissued. We had a mixture of black and white handled knives all of the same style. The majority were 1945 dated but we had several dated 1944 and one dated 1943 so this is clearly a mid-war pattern if not earlier. This one has only a very poor stamping so only a slight part of the makers mark shows and a full arrow can be seen but no date.  It is 100%  wartime so the date would have been 1945, 44 or 43. Unfortunately quite a few that we had were poorly stamped from the factory.  it is still coated in original packing grease but does show some surface rust which will clean up nicely. A nice 100% wartime issue knife.
