18) A good original wartime Gas alarm bell. the bell is in good order with no damage. the front rim is marked “A.R.P.” and the rear top “JB 39” which isnt the clearest of stampings. The handle is good with just surface wear to its finish. Rattles were used to warn of a gas attack and bells were to give the all clear.
