149) Unusual Original WW1 St John Ambulance 1903 Pattern Water Bottle Cradle. The cradle is of blackened leather with blackened cloth shoulders strap and chromed metal fittings. All is excellent with minor surface cracking in places but nothing deep (see photos) The leather shows surface wear to the black finish but nothibg a good coating of boot polish wont sort out. The original thick felt bottle cover is in place but only the lower version. The bottle is a WW2 green enamel bottle which was in this when  we goit it but not the original which would have been blue enamel.
