65) An original WW2 era Royal Artillery officers service dress jacket. The jacket is good and clean but does show some minor moth to the material mostly to the lower front and bottom of lower pocket but also one hole to the right breast pocket also a few very minor to the arms (see photos). The cuffs are nicely covered with soft leather to protect them. All original buttons are in in place and good. The original rank pips are in place to the rank of captain. The officers bronze collar dogs are in nice order. it can be seen where a medal bar was to the left breast and insignia to each arm was removed long ago. The inside is in good order with minor marks and wear from use. the owners’ details are to the inside pocket along with 1942 date.
Measurements are shoulder to shoulder 18 inches, shoulder to cuff 25 inches, armpit to armpit 18 inches, total length collar to hem 32 inches.
