4) a good original British Army Battledress Blouse. This one was produced in America as part of the War Aid/Lend Lease programme. This is a mixture of the 1937 pattern and 1940 pattern blouse. A good respectable looking jacket but it does have a repairs to the left cuff and collar (this could be done better). it also shows a couple of minor moth nips all of which are shown in the photos. The collar shows minor dirt and wear from use. It has had the collar tailored for wear by an officer wearing shirt and tie. It has period added pips to each shoulder. The label shows it as a size 13 and date it to January 1943. for measurements see photos of label.
