A pair of British army cavalry officers mess dress ankle boots. The boots leather is good soft and supple but dirty and in need of a clean and polish. the stitching has come apart to each side of the tongue on both boots but only a short length (see photos). the inside is good. they have WD inspectors m,arks and are marked as size 9M with 1956 date. The rear of each boot has a sprung trap door fitting where spurs can be fitted and removed. the right does not filly close but still works fine.The soles are good with wear from use.
