107) Excellent original WW2 Civil Defence ARP Woman's Issue jacket. The jacket is in excellent and clean condition. It shows minor dust etc so could do with a good brush down. All original ARP metal buttons are in place and good. The collar does up with a hook rather than a button. maybe for economy reasons? There is one small period repair to the rear left shoulder which is old and blends in well. there are also a couple of very minor moth holes nevxt to theis but again not obvious (see photos). The original ARP breast badge is in place and nice period added and original. The inside is excellent. the internal label shows it as a size 16 (see photos for sizes). It is dated 1944 which is confirmed by the WD Inspectors letter date code "M" inside the sleeve. a nice item in nice order.
