95) Excellent Original 1930s Spanish Civil War Mira Goggles Used By Luftwaffe Etc. Produced in Spain in the 1930s and much liked by the German Luftwaffe during the Spanish civil war and used by both Luftwaffe & Russian pilots throughout WW2. The goggles are in nice order. The rubber is mostly perfect but does show surface cracking top the top nose area. The lenses are nice with one small circular spot to the bottom of the right lens where the layer in between has seperated slightly (see photos) all of the rest is nice and this does not stand out. The head straps are very German looking and are excellent. The box that they come in is clearly the original and of the period. We are not sure about the label to the lid? The box is excellent. A nice set suitable for both WW2 Luftwaffe displays, Russian wartime displays and Spanish civil war.
