Nice mid WW2 RAF ditching whistle, these were attached to the Mae West for use in an emergency, the early ones were made of metal which was found to stick to the airman’s lips when in cold weather etc. the plastic whistles were produced in black plastic & white plastic. This one is in black and in excellent working order.
