An original wartime SOE issue cross over connector for use when setting up booby traps, explosives etc, this simply clamps the fuses in place by being pushed shut over them. This is made or early bakelite and bears no makers marks etc as is normal to Special Operations Executive issue items as not to give the origins of the devices away.The photo to the bottom shows this item with others of a similar nature, Trip wire(top), Fuse Cross Over Connector, Pull igniter Mk3, No1 Switch Mk1 and a Det Tin with Tool
