A nice original wartime beret to the Royal Observer Corps, we had a few of these at one time all dated 1943-44 and all marked inside as “Beret Observer Corps” so we know 100% that is what these are and it is a different style to the standard berets these being made of 3 pieces, 1 top and 2 sides. The outer material shows very minor moth grazing and a few tiny holes to the top, the edges are excellent, the inside lining is good and shows dirt from use, the markings are faint the RAF 22F/ can be seen but the rest is faint, it is around a size 6 ¾
