A nice large stoneware jar for ointment anti-gas, it has the oval doulton makers stamp to the rear and is dated 7-43, it is in excellent, all metal fittings are in nice condition with original finish, the jar is excellent with 1 chip to the top rim which is an ancient chip and does not affect the way the lid fixes on and does not stand out as the lid covers it when fitted. The lid is in nice condition and complete with rubber seal. It stands 10 inches tall
