3 A nice original pair of WW2 khaki brown ankle socks of thick wool, these are in fair condition, good and strong but show dirt and wear from use along with several wear holes (see photos), the dirt would wash out and the holes could be darned to make a good respectable pair, the dirt and wear is only to the heel and sole so if on display in boots they would look fine as the upper part is good and clean. A nice original pair in need of some TLC.
