An original ww2 Air Raid Wardens sign, this would have been fixed to the wall or door of a Wardens house so that they could be easily contacted when off duty etc. the sign is made of enamelled metal and is in excellent condition, as can be seen it has been chipped to one corner where it has been prised off a wall, this is old damage and only adds to its character, it shows a couple of other very minor chips and crazing from age and is dirty around the edge.. It measures 8 inches x 2 inches.
