An original tin of early WW2 issue British army foot powder, this one is of the shiny silver/gold finish produced early on in the war, these have no labels but the final photo shows how they would have originally been with date label etc, these labels obviously rarely stayed in place very long and these ones come without labels, this patterns shiny surface reflected light so for obvious reasons was changed for the later khaki version. It is in excellent condition with minor loss of its finish. A vital part of the soldier’s kit.
