A decent size WW2 US army Ike jacket, this pattern was based on the British Battledress and is similar in length etc but is of a much superior quality, the jacket is in good used condition, all front buttons are original and in place, the cuff buttons are missing as are the breast pocket buttons which seem to have been pulled off leaving holes, the breast pockets also show wear to the top edge where they have been used a lot, this is covered when the flaps are down, the jacket shows wear and a few minor marks and has a hole to the rear (see photos) this could quite easily be fixed but would show. The interior is again good but used and the internal label is long since worn out and unreadable. It is a size 36R. Measurements are shoulder-to-shoulder 18 inches, shoulder to cuff 23 ½ inches, armpit-to-armpit 19 inches, width at bottom 17 ½ inches, total length collar to hem 24 ½ inches,
