A pair of mint un-issued Royal Navy gun deck boots, these are all leather and leather soled and have wooden nails and stitching to prevent sparks etc, no metal is used at all, this exact pattern of boots was also favoured by members of the civil defence such as fire watchers and can been seen in use by such people in period photographs. The boots are in lovely condition just dirty and dusty from storage and in need of a good polish, they are a matching pair with matching makers and both dated 1945. They are a decent size 8 and are marked both with the British army /| and the Royal Navy anchor. A nice pair of boots in lovely condition.
