WW2 wool overhead shirt with 3 button neck closure, this is identical to the British made shirts but is of high quality and of a much softer material than the usual course shirts so could be Australian or Canadian made or maybe just private purchase?? It is in mint condition and complete with all original wartime buttons, the collar taps have an unusual diamond shape to them that we think is the internal collar stiffener, which has shown through when it was ironed long ago. Measurements are: - Shoulder to shoulder = 16 ½ inches, shoulder to cuff = 21 ½ inches chest = 41 inches, total length collar to hem = 32 inches.
