Original US Army Issue M-1926 Jacket Size 40R

No4 An interesting inter-war period US army jacket, this is the M-1926 pattern jacket which is fully lined, the label on this is totally worn and faded so the date can’t be made out but it is 100% 1930s period if not 1920s. The jacket is in good un-damaged condition, the material is a little stiff with age but good and strong, it shows a few minor dirt marks in places but mostly pretty clean, all original brass buttons are in place and excellent, they are held on by split rings, the internal lining mostly good but shows wear to the inside around the shoulders, armpits etc and the very top around the neck is a little ripe and will tear easily if pulled, the rest is good and the outer material is not affected, a pretty good example considering that it is almost 80 years old!! It is marked as size 40R
