A very nice un-issued matching pair of puttees this is a pattern which was used in both WW1 and WW2 although the later being a much shorter version, these ones are Australian made and dated 1943 and would have been issued to British and commonwealth troops throughout the war. They are of a short pattern and measure 42 inches in length not including the tie tape, the tie strap is also 42 inches long so the total length in all is 84 inches.
