An original WW2 British military issue tin for 6 green signalling flares, very pistols were used by all 3 services RAF, Army and Navy and each different coloured flare denoted a different signal and meaning such as red for danger, wounded men, damaged aircraft, vehicle, ship etc. The tin is in excellent condition with a few minor storage scratches in places, it is clearly dated 1945 to the side and the inside is in excellent clean condition.
